The Input Engine Powering the Financial Precision of the AFI Index SaaS Platform.
The AI industry's Premier Leadership Assessment
The Machine Leadership Talent Assessment (MLTA) is the secure, patented data pipeline that generates the AI Leadership Capacity Score used for the Composite AI Competency score. The assessment’s LLM Engine dynamically adjusts questions based on job role and industry, generating high-fidelity inputs that traditional HRIS systems and talent assessment vendors cannot replicate.
The primary output is a secured, aggregated data feed that updates the enterprise's score for the AI Competencies variable in the AFI dashboard, providing the critical data point needed to calculate and validate the scaling constant.

The Future of AI Survey
This questionnaire is available for all consumers and can be completed digitally. This is the first time participants are introduced to our algorithm "Neural" and learn where they fit on The AI Innovation Frontier. The questionnaire is used for initial coaching sessions. However, it is NOT scored as part of the MLTA assessment.

Leadership Traits
Ipsative Scoring
Questions are aligned to research standards and use the ipsative method (forced choice). The assessment applies positive and negative correlated questions to drive validity.
Traits Linked to Research
Machine Leadership has researched the traits of leading AI innovators, data scientists, and ethical AI specialists, to identify the key markers which enable peak performance.
Domain Specific
The assessment applies context to the Leadership Traits by evaluating results against benchmarks within the AI Domain and the participant's current and targeted job role.
Cognitive Processes
Live Proctor
This section is administered using a proctor that verifies the participant's identity, administers the questions, and maintains time limits. Proctors are Certified AI Coaches.
Creativity
Creativity is measured using a proprietary scoring method for multiple categories such as imagination, brainstorming, divergent and convergent thinking, and abstract reasoning.
Memory and Spatial Intelligence
Competencies such as fluid intelligence, wayfinding, distance, depth, rotation, and folding are tested using innovative methods that align closely with AI specific tasks.
