Machine Leadership to Present at the 2025 Columbia Coaching Conference

We're thrilled to announce that David Swanagon, Ed.D, SPHR and Stephen McIntosh have been selected as presenters at the 5th Bi-Annual Columbia Coaching Conference, taking place October 14–16, 2025 at Columbia University in New York City.

This year’s theme — High-Impact Coaching in an Era of Hybrid Intelligence — couldn’t be more timely.

Their presentation will focus on:

Machine Leadership: An integrated coaching framework for the age of AI

Their topic will introduce a vision for the Future of AI, where professionals are required to: 1) lead machines, 2) lead people that build machines, and 3) lead organizations that adopt AI. We will be unveiling a new framework for how to balance Machine Autonomy with Trust and AI Competencies, alongside introducing a new talent assessment that helps coaches predict AI leaders. This is an exciting time to be participating in such a prestigious event.

They will be joining fellow thought leaders, scholars and practitioners in executive and organizational coaching from around the world to explore how the evolving collaboration between human and artificial intelligence is shaping the future of coaching. Whether you're a seasoned executive coach, an organizational leader, or simply curious about the intersection of AI and human development — this is the premiere forum for groundbreaking research, real-world application and transformative learning.

Over three days, attendees will engage in three dynamic tracks —research presentations, experiential sessions, and live demonstrations—all designed to inspire, challenge, and prepare coaches for the era of Hybrid Intelligence.

Let us know if you plan to attend — We’d love to see you there!
